The Red Eyed Idiot

Who hath woe?
who hath sorrow?
who hath contentions?
who hath babbling?
who hath wounds without cause?
who hath redness of eyes?
They that tarry long at the wine;
they that go to seek mixed wine.
Look not thou upon the wine when it is red,
when it giveth his colour in the cup,
when it moveth itself aright.
At the last it biteth like a serpent,
and stingeth like an adder.
Thine eyes shall behold strange women,
and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea,
or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
They have stricken me,
shalt thou say,
and I was not sick;
they have beaten me,
and I felt it not:
when shall I awake?
I will seek it yet again.
–Proverbs 23:29-35

America’s Beauty: Acadia of Maine

I checked out a big, thick, heavy book from the library the other day. It was filled with full- spread glossy photos of the amazing beauty found in America’s National Parks. President’s Volunteer Service Award

Did you know you and your family can receive an award from the office of the U.S. president for volunteering!? There are four different awards. It starts at 50 hours per year! It is possible that one could be achieved by the end of the year! This would instill in your children Godly integrity and would lay a foundation to encourage them in giving unselfishly, just as the Bible verse says, “It is better to give than to receive.” Here’s the website, PVSA.

My husband and I used to live in an apartment on Brookside in Tulsa, Oklahoma when our boys were small. We only had one car and Danny would take it when he went to work at the Optical shop. We were in the beginning years of starting our family.

God Of Wonders

May the God of Heaven and Earth completely fill your soul with His great peace.
Ginny and I can have fun singing this song. It’s God of Wonders by Third Day/Caedmon’s Call. The video is peaceful to look at because it shows alot of beauty and majesty of the earth and outerspace.
