There are a couple of things that I did today. They wouldn’t seem very interesting to most. I washed our breakfast and lunch dishes and then I made a new roll recipe. I had my four kids near, busy with their responsibilities.

My daughter is responsible for the dishes right now but she desperately needs to clean her room. We’re planning for her friend to come visit. So I told her I would do them. I don’t mind washing them because I like to keep my hands active. And when I do the humble job of cleaning everyones dirty dishes I have time to think. I love the feel of home when my family is all around.
I made nutmeg pumpkin rolls. I’m going to bake them for supper. I put 2 cups of pumpkin puree (baked from pumpkins) in them. I made a batch of regular sized rolls and clover rolls that are in three section that you can pull apart. The dough tasted good. I hope they will turn out! They’re been rising well.
