Moments Like These

I just found another wholesome blog like Mrs. Happy Housewife to check out from time to time called Moments Like These. The mother who writes this blog has a passion for her family and a passion for knowledge.
I desperately love a good quote. I found 4 good ones on her blog. One of them is directly her words!:

On helping others . . .
Lord, let me be to someone an answer to prayer.
~Blogging (Moments Like These) homeschooling mother of six!
On character building . . .
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet.
Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened,
ambition inspired,
and success achieved.

~Helen Keller
On thoughtfulness . . .
Thoughtfulness is the beginning of great sanctity.
If you learn this art of being thoughtful,
you will become more and more Christlike,
for His heart was meek and always thought of others.

~Mother Teresa
On Friendship . . .
“Oh, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person;
having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pour them all out, as they are,
chaff and grain together,
knowing that a faithful hand will take and sift them,
keep what is worth keeping,
and then, with the breath of kindness,
blow the rest away.”

~George Eliot
