Sometimes I have issues that overwhelm me. When I think through the details and how to solve them, I can feel my blood pressure throbbing through the veins from the anxiety and worry.
But I can let it all go. I look to God. He is my very present help in trouble. I stop and smile at Him and say,
God, I know nothing is impossible with you. I give this problem that is too much for me to you. I fight to keep strong in faith in you. This mountain of a problem is cast into the sea! Thank you that it’s taken care of. I rest in you and trust in you. Show me what to do.
Psalm 46:
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
