I have the lovely little privilege of hearing a Mocking Bird outside my window this morning. It would be interesting to study all the different sounds our little singster can produce. I would have to record him and then count the sounds and their repetitions. My husband and I love it when he makes two unusual sounds, one of a frog and the other of a cell phone! In my mind I love to imagine that he’s pulling up sounds off the top of his head and he’s just have fun singing out a song as he focuses on saying them just as exactly as he had originally heard them.
