A thought entered my head this morning. I don’t think I please God. So I said a one sentence thought prayer. God, how can I make you smile on me? And here are some verses I read in my Bible reading time:
Jeremiah 17:

7 “But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in him.
8 He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
Hebrews 11
6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Psalm 119:143
Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.
Here’s my answer:
1. Trust Him even in hard times
2. Have faith in God like Christians of the past
3. Delight in His Word, and teach my children to love God’s Word too!
