Speech given at Harrow School during World War II
My prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Protect all the soldiers fighting against terror.

I pray that no soldiers would die or be wounded today in the war.
May the war come to an end very soon.
I pray that a great awaking of the fear of You, the one true God, would come to the Middle East and change the evil hearts of terrorists. As the Bible says to pray in Psalms, May there be peace in Jerusalem.
I pray that terrorists would not be funded and would lose their ability to build IEDs. And they would not be able to recruit suicide bombers. Please protect innocent civilians and those in government positions in the war torn countries from being harmed by terrorists. Give them wisdom and courage in establishing their police forces, military and government leadership.
Please keep our military families safe and strong. Protect them from divorce and breakup. Help them to make it financially. Please help our soldiers to have the mental strength and a clear mind as they endure the fighting. Be with out wounded soldiers and help them to stay encouraged and get the best medical care available. Comfort the families and friends that have lost soldiers.
Please give our government and military leadership wisdom in finding the best strategies to win the war. Please give them wisdom in how the war is funded. I pray that money would not be misused.
May there come a great awakening to American Christians, our military and our government. I pray that people would get on their knees and fear God and pray that we would win the war!
