Vocabulary From Johnny Tremain
Grace and Glory
These words need to be read and reread. They bring comfort, peace and hope and are from
God:
Psalm 91
14Because he hath set his love upon me,
therefore will I deliver him:
I will set him on high,
because he hath known my name.
15He shall call upon me,
and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him,
and honour him.
16With long life will I satisfy him,
and shew him my salvation.
Jeremiah 29
11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD,
thoughts of peace,
and not of evil,
to give you an expected end.
Grace is Given by Charles Haddon Spurgeon from Back to the Bible

Elizabeth Elliot Quote
Today is mine.
Tomorrow is none of my business.
If I peer anxiously into the fog of the future, I will strain my spiritual eyes so that I will not see clearly what is required of me now.
I was reading through a devotion by Elizabeth Elliot today from the Back to the Bible website. I discovered this good quote as a paragraph in the devotion I wanted to share it with you.
