Panera Bread
Check out Panera Bread. It’s a great place for dining and relaxing. Their motto is fresh bread makes good friends.
My husband and I needed to get a car repair done today. There just happen to be a Panera Bread cafe across the street. So we went there and stayed until our car was finished.

Hardships
Ever go through struggles for a long time when others around, Christians and Non-Christians are enjoying life? It can get so frustrating. Here’s a poem taken from a devotion by Mary Tileston on the Back To The Bible website.
“Why must I weep when others sing?
‘To test the deeps of suffering.’
Why must I work while others rest?
‘To spend my strength at God’s request.’
Why must I lose while others gain?
‘To understand defeat’s sharp pain.’
Why must this lot of life be mine
When that which fairer seems is thine?
‘Because God knows what plans for me
Shall blossom in eternity.'”

Call Of The Wild Chapter 1 Poem
What does this short poem mean? It’s a poem at the beginning of chapter 1 in The Call of the Wild. I think to most modern readers it’s a riddle in two ways. First of all, it is filled with the literary element of foreshadowing. It offers clues to what the book will be about. And then, secondly, practically speaking, the words of this poem were published with The Call of the Wild in 1903. They are archaic and I find an unfamiliar word in every line.
“Old longings nomadic leap,
Chafing at custom’s chain;
Again from its brumal sleep
Wakens the ferine strain.”

Just For Fun
I’ve been absent more from my blog lately. Not today though, so I have to revisit my two favorite videos from YouTube. . . Just for fun! I’ve been enjoying getting into working hard and now I get to grab an opportunity of free time to enjoy something fun. 🙂 On the job, I’m like Lyndsey Buckingham . . . I get to make money while I get to play and love what I’m doing!!!

Dedicated To My Children! . . .
Proverbs 17 contrasts the lifestyle of the upright and the wicked. These descriptions need to be pounded into the brains of my children. I want them to have memorized and have “hidden in their hearts” the best truth . . . that comes from God!! I also want them to know that when they make stupid and foolish decisions it will sadden the hearts of their mom and dad.

Than a house full of feasting with strife.
