Linda's Thoughts

One of the biggest passions of my life is to travel somewhere with a mission in mind! November 4 through 10 that ongoing dream came true. By day we worked out in the elements to build homes from the foundation up. By night several of us had the privilege of dining,relaxing and resting at the luxurious Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Five people were selected from where I work at Whirlpool Tulsa Division. In order to get a chance to go on the trip you had to fill out an application. Each of us were nominated by leadership.

I've been working making some extra cash and also sorting through the Habitat For Humanity pictures so that's where I've been lately. I sorted through all the pictures from the trip and with a lot of help from my husband to get them on the internet they're finally ready. Here they are: H4H pics.

I've been getting emails and messages from some of my friends that I enjoyed hanging around with on the trip. Just wanna say hi :) back to Todd, James, Linda and Stan.

I thank God for the many good things He has placed in my life. There are a gazillion and one things, family, friends, the American life, His care for me lasting forever and etc . . .

Remembering God on Thanksgiving is how it oughta always be. Psalm 100 describes a thankful heart toward God:

Families with a Daddy and a Momma who are raising their own children in godly moral training will make a strong foundation for any society. It's an anchor and gives future generations good psychological health to face the difficult storms that just living life will bring.

I don't like crowds but I do like cheap prices on desirable items. Thus I always go shopping very early on the day after Thanksgiving.
