Peace

When I go to buy groceries during the weekend, I like to read the signs of churches I pass. Today I read the sign of Sandusky Avenue Baptist Church on Admiral street in Tulsa. I read it and then told my son, Jonathan. I wanted him to help me memorize it. Honestly, I wanted to remind myself of it over and over so maybe it would impact my life. Here's what it read:

Peace
Is not the absence of trouble
It's the presence of God.

Roses Are Red . . .

Last weekend my sister, Penny, who plans to wed July 29th had a wedding shower. My other three sisters and I planned it for her. As part of the decorations and an activity too, I made some small envelopes and placed roses are red poems inside them. I found about 50 of them. They were romantic, silly, goofy and some were a little on the mean side but it was still fun to read them. Here are some of them.
