Strange Concept: Bless Your Enemies

Do you have enemies? Do you respect Biblical truths? The Bible says to hope and pray the best for your enemies. This is hard. And must be slowly learned through many days if you have an enemy that has done a great evil toward you. You must pray every day that Jesus would help you do this and change your attitude and desire.

I have an enemy. He did not hurt me as much as, for example, as a husband who cheated on his wife after 15 years of marriage. But I still need to work toward an attitude of serious regular prayer for this person, in that, they would become a Christian and trust God that He can give them a life filled daily with peace (not stress) and adventure and challenge which will cause growth and that they would build treasure in Heaven as they also have a fulfilled life here on Earth.
Here are some Bible passages* that backup what I know to be true:
In Matthew 5 Jesus said:
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
In Psalm 64 David said:
1 Hear my voice, O God, in my meditation;
Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked,
From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity,
3 Who sharpen their tongue like a sword,
And bend their bows to shoot their arrows—bitter words,
4 That they may shoot in secret at the blameless;
Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.
5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter;
They talk of laying snares secretly;
They say, “Who will see them?”
6 They devise iniquities:
“We have perfected a shrewd scheme.”
Both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep.
7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow;
Suddenly they shall be wounded.
8 So He will make them stumble over their own tongue;
All who see them shall flee away.
9 All men shall fear,
And shall declare the work of God;
For they shall wisely consider His doing.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and trust in Him.
And all the upright in heart shall glory.
