Just imagine that this was the Belvedere that they had pulled out of the vault. (There are pictures of the interior.) This is a ’57 Plymouth Savoy.

Starry Starry Night
I would like to dedicate this entry to Mrs. Happy Housewife. I love it when she takes a famous poem and couples it with a masterpiece.
In college one of my most memorable classes was humanities. The teacher was good and I learned world history that I hadn’t been exposed to yet.
In that class, my teacher Mrs. Lurz, took an old hit song from the ’70’s and told how it was about a famous artist, Vincent Van Gogh. The song is Starry, Starry Night by Don Mclean. The beauty and expression of two incredibly talented people combined so we could enjoy.
What a way to memorize the Masterpieces of Van Gogh; Listening to a peaceful song beautifully sang as a guitar is strummed.
Through YouTube, Don Mclean’s song, and through the artist’s own hand the world will listen now, much more than ever, to what Van Gogh tried to say through his paintings.
Taking Back my Household
For this past year, I’ve been working 6 days a week. My thoughts were focused on working a 40 hour job and working at two other one-day jobs. The focus of my life was torn. Mostly focused on getting money and then what was left over went to my family.
What Are the Odds?
Lately, one of my favorite devotional books is Streams In The Desert by Mrs. Charles Cowman. I like her set up. Each devotion Has a Bible verse, an interesting subject, good Christian examples of the point she is trying to make and then a poem that is focused on her lesson.
I read Streams in the Dessert at the Back to The Bible website. And I read a daily Bible reading from Heartlight’s website.
Phil Collins
Eeeeasscchhhhhh! This is a little embarrassing but you can date me as growing up in the “80’s quite easily if you watch these Phil Collins videos. But I do like his incredible talent via the drums and his voice. I used to “cruise” the tiny, mostly-empty town of Collinsville, OK when I was young and I had a Phil Collins tape I’d listen to. I would have worn it out if someone hadn’t stolen it out of my car!

Php Bible.Org
In 2004, my husband made a King James Bible website called Php Bible.org. I did a Yahoo search (I typed in powered by phpbible.org) and found over 600 entries that link to his site. Amazing.
A favorite Sunday School teacher of mine once said,
There are two things that last forever; the Word of God and souls.
Please Say A Prayer For Us :)
Since I lost my job. I’ve been enjoying being around my four kids. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make money with them instead of going out and working at a job where it is minimum pay and the hours are varied.
Summer Menu
Jonathan and I made out a weekly menu for the summer for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I added more sandwich type foods with lettuce and tomatoes and more whole grains for breakfast. Since I’ve been home more I can feed my family healthier. Here’s our list.
