What Are the Odds?

Lately, one of my favorite devotional books is Streams In The Desert by Mrs. Charles Cowman. I like her set up. Each devotion Has a Bible verse, an interesting subject, good Christian examples of the point she is trying to make and then a poem that is focused on her lesson.
I read Streams in the Dessert at the Back to The Bible website. And I read a daily Bible reading from Heartlight’s website.

Today the focus of Stream In The Desert was to pray bold prayers to God. Four examples were given:
1. Joshua used it when, in the supreme moment of triumph, he lifted up his spear toward the setting sun, and cried, “Sun, stand thou still!”
God made the sun to stand still for Joshua!
2. Elijah used it when he shut the heavens for three years and six months, and again opened them.
God stopped the rain for Elijah.
3. Luther used it when, kneeling by the dying Melanchthon, he forbade death to take his prey.
God chose to cease death’s process because Martin Luther prayed for Melanchthon.
4. The Syropheonicean woman was a Gentile but asked Jesus to heal her daughter. At that point in time Jesus was focusing on God’s people, the Jews.
But because of her faith, Jesus healed her daughter. *
And what’s amazing, I read about the Syropheonicean woman in my Bible reading which is not linked to the devotion!
What are the odds . . .It’s a love note from God to me!!!!!!!!!! I’m going to take it for what it is! Here’s my prayer to my Heavenly Father:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I asked that you would clear my name of the false charges in a big way.
I asked the You would help my husband make a ton of money off the internet.
I asked that You would cause our four children to shine the brightest of all the grandchildren from both sides of our family.
I asked that You would provide a trip for me to travel to somewhere else in the world you created.
*Mark 7:
24 Jesus got up and went away from there to the region of Tyre. And when He had entered a house, He wanted no one to know of it; yet He could not escape notice. 25 But after hearing of Him, a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit immediately came and fell at His feet. 26 Now the woman was a Gentile, of the Syrophoenician race. And she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter. 27 And He was saying to her, “Let the children be satisfied first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” 28 But she answered and said to Him, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table feed on the children’s crumbs.” 29 And He said to her, “Because of this answer go; the demon has gone out of your daughter.” 30 And going back to her home, she found the child lying on the bed, the demon having left.
