On June 15, 1957 a brand spanking-new Plymouth Belvedere Sport Coupe was buried in a time capsule under the sidewalk in front of the courthouse of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event celebrated the 50 birthday of Oklahoma’s statehood. The car was filled with several artifacts of the time such as:
10 gallons of gasoline
5 quarts of oil
Flags flown over our nation’s capital, state capital, Tulsa county and the city
