6th Grade Science Class

I substitute teach on Fridays. I taught at a middle school this week. This school was built just four years ago. The setup of the building was great. The school had no bells except for at the start and end of the day. At one specific time during the day all students stop and read for about 20 minutes no matter what class they’re in.

The subject I taught this week was 6th grade science. There were 7 sessions. l enjoyed teaching all of them. They answered questions from their book and then for about 25 minutes we watched a video with Bill Nye, the science guy.
I love to study the rooms I sub in. You can slowly gather alot of great ideas doing this. This teacher had a good quote. I just had to copy it down:
I asked God for strength that I might achieve.
I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that I might do greater things.
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy.
I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men.
I was given weakness that I might feel the need for God.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life.
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I asked for,
but everything I hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am among all men, most richly blessed.
