Sunday Morning

The time is 6:51. It looks like evening outside, right before dark. I hear the sounds of birds. You know . . . no one complains about such sounds of the morning even if they just wanted quiet. That’s because the pretty music of a bird is as peaceful as still silence. There’s just a bit of cheerfulness added to the peacefulness.

I just finished reading from Ecclesiastes on our laptop. Here’s a great verse I found there: The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil. (12:13-14) The chapter talks of being young. I’m not that but I’m also not old yet. When I read this chapter I just hope and pray my children will never forget God all the days of their life. Even when they get on their own as a young single adult and have tons of freedom to do whatever they want.
It’s almost time to get the family up! Our home will get noisy (and grumpy too) as we all get dressed up for church. Sunday school starts at 8:45 and we go to the best church in Tulsa. Thank God!!!! Church on Sunday has been so engrained in my brain that I might miss from time to time but will never do the heathenistic deed of quitting church!! Church and the Bible make me a better person.
Personally I love dressing up I usually change two or three times trying to find the best things to wear. Since Spring has sprung I am looking for pastels. Right now I’m thinking I’ll wear my black lined dress with a pale green cable knit sweater and a pin that has a dozen pink flowers. I always have pretty jewelry to accent my clothes that my mother has given me for Christmas all through the years.
